Had my nans wake at the Hotel wonderful staff food was lovely and was lovely seeing all my nans photos on show for everyone to see what a wonderful lady she was. I would say have a wake here easy parking and a beautiful place to get together after. Thank you so much Keshia you was brilliant xx
Had such a lovely stay here! The room was excellent and the bed super comfy. Loved having tea and coffee making facilities right in the room. The restaurant was great, and breakfast had plenty of delicious choices. Perfect central location in WSM with free parking for guests, which was so convenient. The staff were incredibly helpful both when booking and during our stay. Would definitely recommend!

I recently visited the hotel ( I didn’t stay ) with family to have a carvery prior to the carnival , I had travelled as I do every year for this special occasion and general stand by the hotel . The hotel is reasonably price and in a great location . We booked a carvery which was really enjoyable but the star of the hotel was a lady called Sandy/Sandie , when it comes to customer service this is a five star ⭐ employee , nothing was to much trouble not just for us but everyone eating , she is friendly attentive and knows what you need before you do , helping the elderly checking customers without being intrusive what a superstar . The whole experience was really great thank you
I’ve attended the Royal Hotel a few times now and every visit has been outstanding. Everything from the beautiful space and views, the food and cleanliness and the service has been excellent. Would highly recommend!
The hotel is very beautiful, the room and the bathroom were clean. Car park is available and breakfast was good. A little smile and friendly conversation at Check-In and Check-Out would've been fine... . It was just "pay" and "leave your keys". Unfortunately, our room was very noisy due to party people at the weekend. Maybe proper windows would help. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our stay.
My Mum and Dad recently got married here and it was wonderful! All the staff, from serving to organising staff couldn't have done more! They were friendly, helpful and invested in my parents having the best day. The buffet was delicious, there was lots of it and a selection of different foods (burger sliders, fruit platters, chicken strips etc). The room was set up beautifully for both the ceremony and after party. The bedrooms were large and functional and breakfast was yummy, with a large range of choice- from cooked to cereal to fruit.
We have just spent 3 nights at The Royal and after reading the reviews I was very apprehensive about what it would be like so my expectations were not very high. I was pleasantly surprised on arrival and our room was lovely. Large room, comfy bed and nice bathroom. It was cleaned to a high standard every day. The staff were all very friendly and food was good. I would definitely stay there again.
